How do weather or fire restrictions affect the launches?
We cannot launch in the rain. We cannot launch if the skies are mostly cloudy, such that an aircraft could be concealed in the clouds. We also cannot launch if the steady state winds exceed 20 mph. If the day scheduled for your launch has inclement weather, our Dream Launch Team will stay for at least two additional contingency days to try to launch. We will also reserve the extra two days for launch opportunities as a contingency with the FAA. We can not launch if a burning ban is in effect unless coordinated with and approved by the local fire department.
