Materials needed : -Green Leaf -Chromatography Paper -Alcohol -Glass -Cardboard 1. Place the green leaf with the upper surface resting on a strip of chromatography paper. 2. Stain the chromatography paper with a little juice from the leaf by pushing a blunt pencil on the leaf a few times. Push on a new spot of the leaf each time so that you can get a dark green spot. 3. Pour some alcohol into the glass. Place the strip of chromatography paper into the glass with the tip of the paper touching the alcohol. Do not let the green dot touch the alcohol. Make sure the strip of chromatography paper is not touching the side of the glass. Cover the mouth of the glass with the cardboard. After 30 minutes, take out the strip of chromatography paper and let it dry.
