How do we reply when a customer asks “Why can I get by with cheap dollar store reading glasses”?

You tell them the truth…..Yes they can. Some People are satisfied in wearing the cheaper flea-market or dollar store glasses and believe that this product is the same as the better quality and more costly readers. Honestly speaking, if a particular customer fits into this category, then their best bet is in fact the local dollar store. Yes, they will be able to read using the dollar glass. Just as a lower priced vehicle will get you from point A to point B, same as a Cadillac…but there is a difference !! On the other hand, if your customer would not buy a cheap suit at a bargain basement and insists on a better quality product; then she would buy a quality ready reader. Cheap glasses don’t last and rarely look good. Rather they just look cheap and fall apart. As always, you get what you pay for.
