The Cabinet Office review has placed a requirement on all central government departments to provide IG assurances for the services and organisations they are responsible for. Therefore, discussions are taking place at policy level within the Department of Health and the Ministry of Justice (National Offender Management Service) to ensure that this work can be completed.
