Complete instructions for setting up a new PC can be found on pg 15, Chapter 1C of our User Manual. 1. Make sure that the appropriate setup files are on the server. Typically when Alpine installs a system we will make a “Install” folder under the RedAlert folder on the server. Contained within this folder is a setup.exe application. If this is present, then go to step 2. If there is no “Install” directory in the RedAlert folder, then create one and download the file SYSFILE.EXE from the following URL on our internet web site: http://www.alpinesoftware.com/download/ **E-Mail Alpine and ask for the password if you need to download SYSFILE.EXE from the download area** 2. On the new PC run setup.exe from the “server” or workstation where RedAlert resides. This setup program can be found in the \redalert\install folder. To run the file from the new PC simply click your Windows Start Button, select Run, click Browse, look for the network drive that contains RedAlert, select the RedAlert fold
