How do we know what freeways are closed in Southern California?

Then if you have an internet available check out Cal-Trans or Highway Patrol web pages. ok As of 7pm the 91 through the Yorba Linda anahiem area. the 5 freeway through the Newhall pass, the 57 freeway through Brea area. If you could tell me where you area going I might be able to help you. I work out of my car and know a lot of alternatives. the 14 is now closed do not go through the Newhall pass. If you are desperate and con not wait until tomarrow you can go up to Victorville go across the Pearblossom High way ahd then go around to the Freeway to Lancaster. Check out how to get to Angeles Crest Highway. That will take you up and over the mountian to the Acton Area. But At this point in time check out if Newhall pass is open and go up through the 5.
