How do we know the Provider Registry is poised to be a pan-Canadian standard?
This Western Health Information Collaborative (WHIC) initiative is leading the way in Canada. The four western provinces have committed to using the Provider Registry developed here in B.C., and the federal Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is working in other provinces to keep them informed and develop interest in following our lead.
