How do we know performance enhancing drugs are harmful?
Performance-enhancing drugs a form of cheating because it gives an individual an edge? That’s a load of bull. Then being lucky enough to be born with the ability to run faster than most others is also cheating. The individual who has the greatest edge is called the winner, HOWEVER he came to HAVE that edge. Why is it “fair” that the Michael Jordans of the world should be rich and successful simply because they were lucky to be naturally good but that those who try to do something about the lousy hands they were dealt with their own two hands are “dirty cheaters”? They should just accept the broom and dustpan and say “It’s fate. It’s the best I deserve, because that is what those not born with the talent deserve so I deserve to be punished for being unlucky since being unlucky is the greatest of crimes”. It’s a load of bull.
