First, ask your software vendor or your developer. To be really sure, you need to check that: • Each of the HACC MDS data items can be collected in the system; • All code sets are correct and match those in the HACC MDS Guidelines; • Each service your agency delivers can be recorded day by day against the right client, or a total for these services may be typed into the system from time to time; and • The Export File (the set of data to be sent to the National Data Repository) must be correctly formatted and checked against the HACC MDS Technical Guidelines.
