How do we get the site information on eduroam map pages/Site Finder spreadsheet updated?
The data presented on the eduroam map pages is derived from information provided by the participating organisations themselves. The mechanism for getting your site data/data updates onto the eduroam map pages and into the ‘site finder’ spreadsheet updated is for the eduroam administrator at your organisation to update the eduroam configuration data on the Support server. Changes will automatically be passed through to eduroam administration and the JANET website pages will be updated. The ‘Site-Finder’ spreadsheet is presented as Excel file. Whilst it is appreciated that Excel is not available to everyone, the information contained is alternatively available to all in the pop-up tables on the map pages. The Excel spreadsheet is published in case people want bespoke lists of participating organisations since it is easily to sort and filter the data it contains.
