How do we ensure that the views of those living outside the CPZ consultation area are taken into account?
The feedback received during the informal consultation stage will be presented to the Executive Member for their consideration. Should it be approved to proceed to the next stage this will be Statutory Consultation. Statutory Consultation is the legal part of the process and is open to any interested party to make representation regarding the council’s proposals. As part of the statutory process public notices will be published in the local press and on site informing of the council’s intentions. A statutory period of 21 days will be provided for an interested party to make representation.
