Referring to Memo: Commodity Survey for SY05 (10) from Terry Minton * March 31 is the deadline to turn in paperwork to the commodity office. If you choose to process but have not determined the name of the company at that time, leave the company name space blank and let them know when you will have that information. You can easily estimate the number of pounds you would need to process by looking at historical usage. All pizza manufacturers can supply you with the pounds used per case of pizza for each variety they produce. If you determine now what items you will place on your bid, estimate the number of cases you will need and multiply that by the pounds per case, you can estimate how many pounds of cheese you will need to process. That information will allow you to estimate how you want to spend your B group entitlement.
