How do we calculate the salary and FTE for staff who hold multiple contracts?

0

For those few staff who do hold multiple contracts as at the return census date of 1 April 2003, it is advised that where headcount information is requested, they should be counted just once, and where FTE information is required, the multiple contracts held on 1 April 2003 should be added together to give a measure of the ‘intensity’ of their employment. The exception to this guidance is where the member of staff holds contracts at different grades, or where an academic post is held in addition to a non-academic one. In these cases, the staff headcount should be counted more than once and the FTE allocated to the appropriate cells.
