How do we bring the true meaning of easter in ones life?
The true meaning of Easter for most Christians is the celebration of Christ’s resurrection from the grave. This is where he defeated death, hell and the grave for each of us who are found to be guilty of sin. The way we bring this to others takes nothing less than a total surrender of our own lives. Through this sacrifice God can make our lives useful in his ministry to this lost world. God Bless!
The word Easter occurs only once in the entire bible…in Acts 12:4. You’re in for more than just a little bit of a surprise if you check it out in the Strong’s Concordance where you will find it is a gross mistranslation from the original Greek “pascha” which actually means Passover. Furthermore, if you do a little more research, such as in Webster’s dictionary or the Encyclopedia Britannica, you will find that the real origin of Easter comes from pagan idolatry roundly condemned by God. Then why is Christianity (so-called) keeping a pagan idolatrous festival that God hates? If you really understood what Easter is all about, I can assure you, you wouldn’t have anything to do with it!
