How do WDLIs distance learning programs work?
The campus of each WDLI member University is online. All traditional University actions like Admission, Registration, and course completion take place inside the “My WDLI” link into WDLI’s electronic campus. All the individual classrooms are online. Each course has a set “start” and “end” date in which coursework is completed. Within each classroom, the student can view a Student Course Guide to see a list of assignments and due dates for submission. Assignments are downloaded into the classroom, exams are taken online or at conveniently located proctor sites, and both students and professors have email addresses within the classroom to facilitate dialogue. There is also a feature within the classroom that enables dialogue between classmates and a question and answer link directly to the professor.
