The only large discharges are the Bostik-Findley Corporation discharge (cooling water, now almost entirely discontinued thanks to implementation of a closed loop cooling system) and the Ipswich Wastewater Treatment Plant discharge into Greenwood Creek in the Ipswich River estuary.
