How do virtual web hosting storage quotas work?
We use a soft quota method that allows you to upload and use more storage as needed. This means you have the ability to use more space than is allocated in your hosting plan. This is particularly helpful when uploading new content before deleting the previous content, but can also allow for temporary storage of large files and other similar situations. To view how much storage has been used at any given time, please visit the Customer Service site. You can find the disk space usage information in the “Web Hosting” area under “Managed Hosting”. Additional charges may apply for use of storage space that exceeds your plan allocation.
