How do vendors find out about Quick Quote opportunities?
Vendors have three options for learning about opportunities posted on Comm-PASS. Free access is available to anyone via Internet since the public search and browse tools are offered at no charge. Free access may be available if a public purchaser elects to enter your email address or fax number in their Quick Quote address book and notify you electronically. Customized, automatic email notification and three other features can be obtained for a single annual fee by subscribing to SmartBid. • How do vendors bid on Quick Quotes? Public purchasers issuing Quick Quotes will indicate in the posted record which method of response is allowed or required. If the record indicates SmartBid is required, only SmartBid subscribers will be able to respond. If the record indicates that email or fax responses are allowed, a vendor may submit a response to the address or telephone number indicated.
