How do Vapaguard Pads and Tabs work?
Vapaguard Pads and Tabs are a V.P.C.I. emitter device and when installed in an enclosure give off a non-toxic gas that saturates the internal volume and is attracted to the oxide layer of all corrodible metal surfaces. This creates a barrier to the atmospheric corrosive elements and prevents corrosion by converting these elements to ph7 or neutral levels. This is very effective when there is a combination of corrosive gases and moisture in the atmosphere.
