How do U of T paid PDFs access the Universitys libraries?
A PDFs are the equivalent of staff members as far as library privileges are concerned, which means they may access all print and electronic library resources. Upon confirmation of the engagement in the registration process, information on the PDF will be uploaded and shared with the UTORauth system to obtain unique UofT person identifyers – UTIDs. This data will be merged into a template letter that PDFs will pick-up from the SGS Postdoctoral Office to secure this service as well as utoronto email access. PDFs can bring their letter of engagement to Robarts, Rm 2054A, 2nd Floor and obtain a library card.
