If you don’t have the restore disk, go to the Dell website and download all the drivers you need for the computer,and put them on a flash drive or CD. Then use the XP or Vista CD that came with it and reinstall the OS. If you don’t have an OS CD, see if you can borrow one – the same as was on it before. As long as you have the Microsoft Product ID sticker on your computer, you will be legal. You may have to call Microsoft to activate the OS – but with the product code, you can. Then reinstall the drivers. It’s a fairly lengthly and sometimes complicated process. Good luck.
