How do travellers in u.k. make so much money?
I was within a half-inch of reporting this question as abuse. Whether it really would be or not depends on where Yahoo draws the line on prejudice, but in the end I chose to err on the side of free speech. However, I do want to say something. For those that do not know (such as most of my fellow Americans more than likely,) “Travellers” is a European term for Gypsies (better called Romani) and this question smacks strongly off racial prejudice. Like most of my fellow white anglo-saxon protestant males, I’m not hypersensitive to prejudice, but I do dislike questions that frame the asker’s opinions as if they are established fact. This statement about Romani (Travellers) is no different than statements or questions that pre-characterize all Africans, Asians or anyone else according to one’s impressions of their worst members. Do what you can to learn more about the ethnic group as a whole first.
