How do Trade Counterparties manage the different timestamp information they receive for the same trade?
One notification after the first party enters the trade serves to tell the other party that they have to enter the same trade as well in order for it to become confirmed/effective. The first notification will have a confirmation status of NO–because the other party has yet to enter the trade. Once the second party enters the trade, the trade is confirmed and is effective, and the notification message is sent back to the first party indicating “YES”.
