How do Tornadoes cause damage to properties?
Tornadoes cause damage to properties by sucking up anything in their path and then throwing it a few miles away. If you have a property that is just flat land and has grass and lots of trees then the Tornado would uproot trees and possibly bring up part of the ground. Of course, if you had a house on your property it would do some damage to your house if your house was in the way of the Tornado.
