How do tidal waves affect the environment?
If you mean waves formed by the shifting of the tides, then the incessant wave action reforms the coastline continually. In some regions, that means beaches are being eroded away by the ebbing tides. In other areas, whole cliffs might be calved like ice from a glacier. On the other side of the coin, tidal waves can also deposit silt and flotsam, to build up coastlines as well. Depends on where the tidal actions are. If by tidal waves, you mean tsunamis, which are not tidal waves but they are seismic created waves, then whole populations and villages along the coast can be wiped out. That happened just a few years ago in Indonesian and other areas of the South Pacific and Indian Ocean.
