How do they think them up, no more Mr/Mrs/Ms just full names on letters?
I think that’s a good idea. However, I don’t live in an English speaking country and many people think my family name is a first name. I’m sometimes sorely tempted to send back letters addressed to Herr etc. marking them ‘unknown’ – especially when they are bills, or it is clearly written on my submission, ‘Legal representative-ESS’. (German: RechtsvertreterIN) When I type my name before signing, I capitalise my family name, so that should be clear and my first name is clearly a female name.
