How do they feed Californian sea lions in captivity?
Many of the trained seals of circuses and marine parks are California sea lions. They are highly intelligent and can be trained to do many different tricks. I believe they are hand fed in captivity, because to teach each trick to the sea lion the sea lion would need positive reinforcement. Dolphins are trained in this same way and are hand fed as well.
