How do they celebrate Palm Sunday in Ireland?
In Dublin, the churches leave pieces of Palm in a big box at the door of the church. After Mass the congregation bring pieces of the palm home, and in our house we would put it behind the picture of the Sacred Heart. It would stay there till after Easter Sunday. Also, the left over palms are then burnt by the church and the ashes are kept, to be used on Ash Wednesday the following year.
