How do they align the sheets?
• A. There are two hardened steel linear guide rods passing through the two clamp halves. The bottom of the clamps are machined perfectly flat, and perfectly aligned with each other. The gasket protrudes about 1/16 inch to aid in attaching to uneven surfaces. The gasket will retract into it’s groove as the vacuum takes hold and the pods make contact with the solid surface.
