How do the utility payments work for the University Houses and Glassell Apartments?
A. Residents of houses are responsible for payment of all utilities except water and trash removal. The utilities should never be turned off in the houses, as Chapman University pays for the utilities while the house is not occupied. Therefore, when you move into your house, you are responsible for having the utilities service transferred to your name. Residents in Glassell Apartments are only responsible for the payment of phone, cable and internet access.
