How do the students find their summer internships?
Mrs. Judy Adkins, School-to-Careers Coordinator, helps students obtain their summer internships. Mrs. Adkins helps each student develop a resume. Students learn job-seeking skills and learn how to conduct themselves during a personnel interview. Mrs. Adkins networks with area businesses, many of whom provide internships each year to different students. Students are also encouraged to contact area businesses and search for internships they are interested in. Students may complete an internship at a business of their choice with approval from Mrs. Adkins.
