How do the students celebrate American holidays? Do we get time off from school or just all get together and throw a big fiesta?
A. The school does accommodate us for a few American holidays, but most of your off days will be to celebrate the Mexican holidays. I enjoy celebrating the Mexican holidays as much as the US holidays. What some of us do is go out in small groups to restaurants or have our own class parties at someone’s house.
