When using the sliders in Moodagent to create a playlist it’s important to understand how they work. Firstly – the sliders are not binary, meaning it’s not a question of toggling a mood on or off. Thus moving one slider to the top and the others to the bottom will not create a playlist containing tracks with that one accented mood slider. Moving a slider all the way to the bottom doesn’t turn that slider off, but rather defines the value of that mood/tempo. Every profiled track has a specific value for each of the moods and the tempo. Whenever you have positioned the sliders, Moodagent will take all the slider positions into account, trying to make a playlist matching the slider values. Moodagent will always create a playlist that comes as close to your defined mood as possible, but the quality and variation of the playlists are dependent on your locally stored music.
