How do the skills checklists work? Is there any notification sent to users when they are assigned a checklist?
Managers can email skills checklists associated with a procedure to a specific staff nurse who is being asked to demonstrate competency of that skill. They simply use the email icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen from within the specific checklist. Upon demonstrated competency of the skill in front of their manager, administrators can assign that checklist to a user and record the outcome. However, there is no automated way for Lippincott’s Nursing Procedures and Skills to notify users when they have been assigned a skill.
