How do the Seahawks stop Torry Holt?
Holt has five 100-yard games and eight touchdowns in 11 games against the Seahawks since 2000. Those numbers are impressive, and it just goes to show that Holt can’t be completely stopped. He has figured out how to defeat the Seahawks’ coverages, unless they throw something new at him. The key to limiting what he can do is to keep him in front of the defensive backs and not allow him to catch the deep ball or something in the open field where he can turn on the afterburners.Can the Seahawks get a win over a quality team without both Hasselbeck and Alexander? The Seahawks have yet to prove they can. They won without Alexander in St. Louis in October, but Hasselbeck had a big game that day. It will have to be the defense that plays the biggest role in a win. Has the Seahawks defense returned to early-season form? It was as good as ever on Monday night against Oakland, and a similar effort gets the job done this week. That’s not likely to happen, because the Rams are a much better team. B
