Diversity Best Practices hosts six conference calls a year each addressing a diversity topic that the membership collectively rated as important to their work in the upcoming year. The DBP account executives seek out an individual from a best practice and innovating company on the specific issue of the call. The speaker can be from a member company or an invited speaker from a non-member company or organization. The conference calls generally take place at 4 pm EST and last for about an hour. During the call members will hear from five speakers, who each speak for approximately 10 minutes. Once all speakers have presented their material members have the opportunity to ask questions. All communications prior to the call are sent out via e-mail. An e-flyer is distributed to each member companys main point of contact(s).
