How do the regulations change the preparation and training of prospective adoptive parent(s) in incoming cases?
In order to meet accreditation and approval standards relating to prospective adoptive parent training, an agency or person generally must provide prospective adoptive parents with at least ten hours (independent of the home study) of preparation and training designed to promote a successful intercountry adoption before they travel to adopt the child or the child is placed with them for adoption.
