How do the previous SPDP CSE courses count towards the new SPDP 4.0 program?
Students who have completed SPDP CSE courses between 2003-2009 and have not completed all of CSE 479-486 can have those courses credited to equivalent SWE courses. A course completion certificate for the SWE equivalent course can be issued upon request. The following table outlines which SWE courses are credited by a CSE course. For instance, if you have taken CSE 481, you are credited for SWE 201 if you’ve taken CSE 482, then you get your choice of credit for either SWE 310 or SWE 401, but not both. There are no equivalent SWE courses for CSE 487, 488, 489 or 496. Note: you will not receive additional or the difference in CLPs for credited SWE courses, and the SWE courses may not appear in your transcript.
