How do the pool key fobs work?
Simply hold the key fob up to the raised sensor on the outside of the post below the latch side of the pool gate, and it will deacitivate the lock. Each key fob is registered to a Resident Account and is tracked for use. As our pool does not have an attendant, this provides important information to Management when incidents occur, such as vandalism or rule infractions, and notifies Management which residents were present and may have observed those incidents. This has resulted in less vandalism, fewer pool closures, and signficantly less expense for pool attendants, which were problematic at best. Please do not hold open gates, block gate open, or open gates for others, and use your key fob when both entering and exiting the pool area. Your observance of these “honor system” procedures will help prevent pool closures, curtail unnecessary expense, and allow for a good pool season for all.
