How do the online Distance Learning courses work, and what do I need to get started?
Students are required to have a high speed internet connection (PC or Mac), Windows Media Player, and Adobe Reader. Students are given access to an online course site where the course is held, and they may log in at any time of day at their own convenience to complete course work. There will be a combination of assignments, quizzes, and tests that are taken and submitted online. Some courses include audio lectures. Each course also includes a textbook for reading assignments. Work is graded online and scores are posted. Upon successful completion of the course a certificate of completion is issued.
