How do the NovaPRO RA test results compare to the RF (Rheumatoid factor) test results?

0

The NovaPRO test marks the presence of genes associated with RA whereas the RF test detects the level of the RF autoantibody that is found in the sera of some people and may change over time. The NovaPRO test detects an inherited genetic trait that will not change over time and, therefore, need only be performed once. We believe the NovaPRO test provides results that are an adjunct to the RF test and, again, comprise one component in the development of a treatment strategy. Please refer to Reference # 7 (Winchester) in the NovaPRO RA datasheet.
