How do the muffler and exhaust system work?
If you’ve ever heard an engine running without a muffler, you know what a huge difference a muffler can make to the sound of your vehicle. Inside a stock style muffler, you’ll find a set of tubes and chambers. They are designed to reflect the sound waves produced by the engine in such a way that they partially cancel themselves out. This technology works well to reduce most of the sound coming from the engine.
