How do the mini-sports activities like soccer work within the context of the game?
Richard / Hiro: This is one of the great new additions to the game. As you race, there are triggers which activate the different mini-games. So, as you turn a corner, you might see a large soccer goal on the track. When you hit the trigger, a soccer ball drops onto the track and the player can earn extra points by hitting it into the goal. This sounds easy, but as you race around battling the other players, you need to concentrate to line up the shot amidst all the mayhem. IGN: Stunt games inherently lend themselves to high-scoring competitions. Is there a medal or achievements system of any kind in place? What about online leaderboards? How’s it all work? Richard / Hiro: We track the player’s total score throughout the game. As you score higher, you can unlock extra bots. In addition, you can unlock special dioramas by performing stunts. Each time you perform a trick, you are given a rating of one to five stars. Some of the five star stunts are called Super Stunts and we keep track of
