How do the mail quotas affect shared folders, proxy links and resource accounts?

0

• Shared folders will be counted as part of the folder owner’s quota only. In some situations users may be hosting material in a shared folder in their mailbox that should not be counted in their personal mailbox quota. If this information is not suitable for archiving in it’s own archive it should be moved to a resource account. • Proxy links are only access points to other accounts. Since quotas pertain to the material actually in an account, proxy links to other accounts are not included in the quota tally. • Resource accounts are separate from the mailboxes of the resource owner and others who access it. Therefore the resource account has it’s own quota that does not affect the quotas of persons who access it.
