MedjetAssist Transport Protocol–The MedjetAssist transport protocol is a series of methodical steps, taken in sequence, time and time again to ensure a successful and consistent outcome. The following is a glimpse into the process of a typical MedjetAssist medical transport: Initiating the Transport– A transport is first initiated when a call comes in from a MedjetAssist member who is in need. Immediately, a MedjetAssist transport facilitator will extract as much available information as possible so the fastest and most accurate decisions can be made. That information is inputted into our system and sent to the MedjetAssist medical team at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
