How do the identity seals work?
An identity seal can be placed on a personal web page, blog, etc. in order to boost confidence among visitors to your web site by reassuring them that you are who you say you are. The identity seal can be placed anywhere you have the ability to place a graphical button. The web page containing the seal should have a consistent and unique web address, and should be protected from tampering by other parties. There is no additional cost for these web seals, and you can create as many as you like. To use identity seals, however, the minimum proof of identity is a valid credit card (see the table below).
