How do the handbooks differ from old provincial exams?
Old provincial exams offer useful practice. However, the handbooks have one very big advantage over old exams: as well as having many exam-type questions in them, they contain VALUABLE EXPLANATIONS of key concepts, as well as examples formulated specifically to illustrate those explanations. The best plan is to combine old exam practice with consistent use of the handbook during the school year. Remember: UNDERSTANDING is even more important than correct answers, because understanding is what guarantees continuing success in future courses.
