How do the faux granite finish counters hold up to heat and stains etc?
The faux granite finished counters are definitely resilient, even to heat. Regular use such as coffee makers, hot cups and plates do not pose a problem at all, but use a hot pad for extremely hot pots. Faux granite and marble counters are completely water resistant and we have not found anything to stain them yet. Even red wine stains can be cleaned away with a little bleach as you would with other surfaces. Permanent marker can be permanent if left, but if caught soon, just spray with kitchen cleanser.
