How do the expectations differ in the Weekend and the Modular Executive MBA Program formats?
The basic difference in student expectations surrounds the Modular EMBA residency format. During the on-campus residency modules, students may choose to reside on campus at the Emory Conference Center or may decide to reside elsewhere in the city of Atlanta. All students must be within a reasonable commute of Goizueta for all residency modules as all Modular students are expected to be in class from 8am-5pm, and participate in evening work groups during residency modules. Modular students are required to remain at Goizueta for lunch and dinner. Because of the academic schedule during residency modules, students should not expect to participate in outside activities that are not related to the program, regardless of where they reside during residency modules.
