How do the Elders and respected persons help the offender and the Magistrate in the court process?
Elders: Elders can provide advice on how they know the offenders (there family background)and what they think maybe appropriate punsihment. Respected Persons: These people can provide support outside the court system. Also give advice on maybe the right strategies that maybe used to rehabilitate these offenders and link these people to those links.
